Last Year Across Perth and Kinross
Behind every number is a person, a family and a story.
More Than Food
Perth and Kinross Foodbank provides an empathetic safe space where everyone is heard and no-one goes hungry. Alongside emergency food parcels and essentials, we provide time to listen, practical guidance and connections to wider support services. Because food insecurity is rarely just about food - it is often rooted in low income, rising costs, debt, ill health or sudden crisis. Our work is built on empathy, dignity and community, ensuring people feel respected, welcomed and supported during difficult days.
Immediate Support
Emergency food and essentials for individuals and families facing crisis.
Relational Support
A compassionate, person-centred approach that gives people time to talk and feel heard.
Working Together
Collaborating with communities, partners and local services to provide joined-up support and drive lasting change.
Our Story
Established in 2013 by local churches coming together in response to growing food poverty, Perth and Kinross Foodbank has evolved alongside the needs of the community.
In 2024, our move to York Place created the opportunity to build a more relational model of support - centred on conversation, empathy and dignity through choice, voice and time.
Today, we provide more than emergency food. We offer compassionate, person-centred support for people facing hardship, crisis and uncertainty across Perth and Kinross.
Mission
Providing compassionate, dignified support for people facing hardship across Perth and Kinross.
